Welcome to Errands Transportation Service, LLC! By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking your ride. Our services are provided to help you with transportation needs in rural areas where public transit is limited or non-existent. Our goal is to ensure you receive safe, reliable, and affordable transportation, whether it's for medical courier, a doctor's appointment, grocery shopping, or any other personal errands. 

Errands Transportation Service reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any significant changes will be communicated to you via email or posted on our website. By continuing to use ouR services after changes are made, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms.

Booking and Payment Terms

  • Booking Requirements: To book a ride, you can contact us via phone and our online booking system. When booking, you will need to provide accurate information including your trip details. Please do not falsify any information.  

  • Payment Methods: We accept payment via credit/debit card and mobile payment apps. All fares must be paid before errand in order to dispatch the driver to your location. Payment is due prior to taking errand.

  • Rate Structure: Rates vary based on distance, wait time, service type and special requests.  Our standard fare starts at $2 per mile, though rates may vary depending on the service requested.  Special rates may apply to longer trips, delivery services, or tours.

  • Additional Fees: Additional charges may apply for tolls, parking, wait time, administrative or special requests.

  • Child Safety: Children requiring car seats or booster seats must have an approved seat provided by the parent or guardian. 

Service Availability and Hours

  • Errands Transportation Service, LLC operates everyday, holidays included. We service local and out-of-town areas, including airports, medical appointments, errands, and special events. Due to the nature of rural transportation, availability may be limited during certain times, and advanced booking is encouraged.

  • Wait Time: A 15-minute grace period is provided for appointments.  Additional wait time may be billed according to current company rates.

Cancellation Policy

  • Clients may cancel their ride at any time; however, cancellations will incur a cancellation fee of up to 30% of the total fare. This fee will be deducted from the total amount paid for the service.

  • If you need to cancel a ride, please notify us as soon as possible to minimize the cancellation fee. The cancellation fee helps cover administrative costs and ensures availability for other customers.

  • By booking a ride, you acknowledge and agree to the cancellation fee terms.

  • If a customer fails to appear at the scheduled pickup location without notice, a no-show fee may be charged.  Repeated no shows may result in future booking restrictions. 

Passenger Responsibilities

  • Behavior: Passengers are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and follow all instructions for safety. Disruptive or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated, and service may be refused.

  • Safety: All passengers must wear seatbelts at all times during the ride. If traveling with children or pets, please ensure you have the necessary child safety seats or carriers. Additional fees may apply for special accommodations.

  • Items Left Behind: Errands Transportation Service, LLC is not responsible for any personal belongings left in the vehicle. Please ensure that you check the vehicle for any items before exiting. If an item is found, contact us.  We will make reasonable efforts to contact you, but we cannot guarantee retrieval.

Driver’s Rights and Responsibilities

  • Our drivers are trained professionals who know the local area and routes to ensure a smooth and safe ride. They have the right to refuse service if passengers engage in inappropriate behavior, fail to follow safety instructions, or if the vehicle becomes unsafe.

Liability and Limitations of Liability

  • Personal Property: Errands Transportation Service, LLC is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items during the ride. By using our services, you acknowledge and accept that you are responsible for your personal belongings.

  • Injury or Damage: While we strive to provide a safe and comfortable ride, we cannot be held liable for any injuries or damage that may occur unless caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct on our part.

  • Force Majeure: Errands Transportation Service is not liable for delays, cancellations, or interruptions in service due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, accidents, road closures, etc.).

Privacy and Data Protection

  • We take your privacy seriously. Your personal information will only be used to process your bookings, provide customer support, and improve our services. We do not share your personal information with third parties except for payment processing or as required by law.

Indemnity

  • By using Errands Transportation Service, LLC you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or liabilities resulting from your use of the service, including but not limited to injury, loss of property, or damages caused by your failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

  • Any disputes arising from the use of Errands Transportation Service, LLC shall be resolved through mediation /arbitration in the jurisdiction of the county. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of South Carolina, United States.

Force Majeure

  • Errands Transportation Service, LLC will not be held responsible for any failure to perform its services if the failure is caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, acts of war, government regulations, or other force majeure events.
